In Loving Memory of HENRY ANDREW ANDROLICK May 4, 1933 - February 10, 2008 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Henry "Hank" Androlick on February 10, 2008. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 years Lois and five children Tracy (Shawn) Byrnes, Cody and Brianna; Mark (Lisa), Jake, Cole and Chase; Tami (Steve) Carvath, Jesse (Kayleigh), Robert and Brittany; Michele (Ron) Godfroid, Randy, Brenden and Hailey; Dale (Stacy), Morgan and Gage. He also leaves his siblings Paul Androlick, Pauline (Vic) Cibulka, Irene (Ron) Singleton all of Sparwood, BC; sister-in-law Gail (Jim) Ihas of Fruitvale, BC; aunt Sue McRae of Kamloops; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Helen Androlick. Henry was born and raised in Natal, BC. He graduated from Automechanic School in Nanaimo, BC and began his work career in Harrison Lake, BC. Henry met the "Thrill of his life on Sparwood Hill" in 1957. He married Lois Sangala on April 12, 1958 in Fernie, BC. He worked in the coal mining and trucking/ construction industries, and operated H&L Motors until 1969. The family lived for a brief time in Summerland, BC before settling in Kamloops in 1970 where he worked for several years for KP Highland Contracting. He began his career with Weyerhaeuser in 1973 working until his retirement in 1996 and then returning there as a project trainer for a period of time after. Henry had many hobbies - darts, hunting, golf, camping, slo-pitch, Blazers hockey and wood working in his shop. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and the best dad. He cherished his family and the time spent with his grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ben (and Lorene) Anders, the wonderful nurses on 6 South for all the care and compassion given, and to friends John and Marj French, Shelley and Dave Tallent, and cousin Nancy and Ron Dey for all their help and understanding during this difficult time. He was a member of PPWC and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 111-450 Lansdowne Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 1Y3 or the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, BC, V2E 2S9 would be greatly appreciated.
