The death occurred peacefully at his residence on the Souris Line Road on Jan. 1, 2010, surrounded by his family of Kennie (Cyril) MacDonald, age 66 years. Loving husband of Anne (nee Hughes) and loving father of Paul (lori), Aaron (Debra). Survived by mother; Alice MacDonald, and sister; Nora (Ira) Stewart, and special brother, Kenny (Verna) MacAulay. Sadly missed by grandchildren; Dylan, Alex, Stacey and Josh MacDonald. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughters; Frances Anne and Lynn and father; Cyril MacDonald. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday evening Jan. 4, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral to be held on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made in Kennie’s memory to the Souris Area Palliative Care Office or the Canadain Cancer Society would be appreciated.
