Passed in: British Columbia, Canada

RON B. FRY June 20, 1939 - April 13, 2008 It is with great sadness to inform you of the sudden passing of Ron Fry, who has gone home to be with his Lord. Predeceased by his son Shane Cameron Fry, his parents Walt and Winnifred Fry, his sister and brother-in-law Ray and Betty Thertel, his in-laws Arthur and Isabelle Reynolds and his sister-in-law Evelyn Costley (Reynolds). He leaves to mourn him, his wife Andrea Fry (Reynolds), his daughter Alexe Brick, his grandson Devon Payne, two nephews Terry and Scott Thertel and their families, nephews and a niece on Andrea's side and their families, many cousins and friends in Ontario, and numerous friends in Kamloops, at the Coast, and at Knouff Lake. Ron was born in Oshawa, Ontario where he apprenticed in Mechanics and where he held an inter-provincial gas ticket and heavy duty ticket. He married Andrea in 1966 in Oshawa, Ontario and his son Shane was born there. In 1974 they moved to the Yukon and he worked at the mine in Faro. There he did a lot of fishing and hunting of large moose and caribou. They moved back to Ontario during a strike, returning a year later. In 1980 they left the mine and settled in 100 Mile House B.C. where Ron worked for the Village of 100 Mile House as a Mech/Welder. In 1985 they again returned to Ontario when Andrea's sister died. When Shane was injured in a car accident while visiting B.C., they again returned to B.C. and lived in Vancouver until it was felt Shane could move away from the large hospitals. In 1994 they moved to Kamloops where both Ron and Andrea were retired. They bought a place on Knouff Lake after Shane passed away, and decided to retire there. After this long winter Ron was really looking forward to fishing on the lake with his friends there. In lieu of flowers, Ron would have appreciated a donation in his name, to the Kamloops S.P.C.A
