It is with heavy hearts, the family of Royce Glanzer announces his passing, surrounded by family, on January 27, 2009. Royce is survived by his son Kelly Glanzer and his children, Jessica, Sarah and Madison; daughter Tammi Glanzer-Boudreau (Lee), and their children, Joshua, Rachelle and Katelyn. Royce leaves behind his father, Anthony Glanzer of Kamloops, brothers Ken Harrison (Linda) of Edmonton, Bill Harrison (Patricia) of Edmonton, Gary Harrison of Vancouver, sisters Yvonne Johnstone (Marvin) of Grandview Flats and Susan Tomas (Gary) of Abbotsford and numerous nieces and nephews. Royce was predeceased by his mother Susan Harrison of Edmonton and his beloved wife and soul mate Kathleen Glanzer in 2002. Royce was born in Calgary on June 27, 1944. With his wife and children, Royce settled in Kamloops in 1974. Within a few years, Royce Cabinet Shop was open for business. Royce was a gifted woodworker which he was able to pass on to his son Kelly and son-in-law Lee. Royce had a passion for outdoor life which took him on many journeys. From fishing, camping, scuba diving, traveling and his love for gardening, Royce appreciated the beauty and nature that surrounded him. On March 6, 2009, beginning at 1:00 PM, a Celebration of Royce's Life will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 364 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC, with Pastor Samick officiating. Royce's family would like to thank the many family, friends, Doctors, Nurses at RIH and the Kamloops Hospice for their compassion during his last days. Donations in Royce's memory to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S, Kamloops, BC, V2E 2S9 will be greatly appreciated. We will remember Royce for his love for God, his children and especially his grandbabies. His family and friends were held close to his heart. Royce and Kathy had a promise that they would meet at the tree of life. We have no doubt that is where they will meet once again
