Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22nd, 2010, at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Austin Taylor, at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Rose (nee McDonald); daughter, Cynthia (Glen Tucker), Corner Brook; sons: Ken (Karen), Victoria, BC and John, Calgary, AB; five grandchildren: Jamie and Meghan Taylor, Victoria, BC, Robert and Mark Tucker, Corner Brook and Jacob Taylor, Calgary; two brothers: Ford (Jean) Taylor, Mt. Pearl and Bruce (Doreen) Taylor, Wainwright, AB; sisters-in-law: Jean Shea, Joan Delaney and Loretta Dickhout; brother-in-law, Lou McDonald; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Parmenus and Ida Taylor; brothers: Neil, Arch and Frank. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service only. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook.
