Mel (James Melvin Alexander) left on wings to heaven at the age of 93 years on Thursday, February 4, 2010, one day shy of his 67th wedding anniversary with his loving wife Dorothy. He was loved by his son Murray Rowan; loving daughter Janet (Barry) Dixon; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mel was born in Tuxford, SK, farmed and raised his family in Grand Coulee, SK and retired in Regina, SK. At Mel’s request a family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.
