Boyer – Mrs. Evelyn M. (nee Caron), late of St. Louis, SK passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Herb Bassett Home on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Evelyn’s greatest joys in her life were her children and grandkids. She was a very hard working woman that always found time for family and friends. After seven years apart she is now reunited with her loving husband Joe. Evelyn is survived by her loving children Alcide (Joan) Boyer of St. Louis, SK, Annette (Gordon) Laplante of Calgary, AB, Louis (Marilyn) Boyer of Prince Albert, SK, Ronald (Yvette) Boyer of Prince Albert, SK, Sidney (Diane) Boyer of Saskatoon, SK, Cheryl (Kelvin) Tait of St. Louis, SK and Michelle (Wayne) Lafontaine of Elbow, SK; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; four sisters Lillian Kotlarchuk of Edmonton, AB, Hilda Kuttnick of Edmonton, AB, Gertie (Laurent) Richard of St. Louis, SK and Nora (Marcien) Regnier of Saskatoon, SK; two brothers Tom (Linda) Caron of Muskoday, SK and Ronnie Caron of Saskatoon, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Boyer; one son Roland Boyer; her parents Albert and Marjorie (Adair) Caron; one sister Anges Michalchuk and one brother Joe Caron. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church with celebrant Bishop Blaise Morand. Interment will be held at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 12013, Stn BRM B, Toronto, ON M7Y 2L3. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. "Grandma Boyer was one special lady to many many people and I am so glad I was able to be one of those people. I will never forget Grandma's Friday visits to our house to get her hair done and the treats, christmas gifts, hug and kisses she showered us with. Grandma Boyer made THE BEST Jam Jams I have ever tasted still to this day. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you right now."
