Passed peacefully away at her home in Portugal Cove South on Sunday, February 07, 2010, age 87 years, Violet Perry. Predeceased by her devoted husband James; her two grandsons: Kalvin Corcoran and Randy Curtis; her brothers: Phonse, Don and Cyril; her daughter-in-law Kathleen; her son-in-law Eugene Curtis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her six sons and nine daughters: Cyril, Don (Donna), Allen (Verna), Jimmy (Linda), Loyola (Bonnie), and Gerard (Marsha), Madeline (Leo), Bride (Don), Lucy, Idella (Reg), Geraldine, Gladys (Wayne), Dianne (Gord), Martina (Keith), Zina (Sony); forty-two grandchildren and forty-four great-grandchildren; her three brothers: France, Herbert and Mike; her two sisters: Peggy and Josephine. Also her special home care worker Helen Pennell and a large circle of other family and friends. Remains resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon with Mass of Christian burial to take place at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Portugal Cove South.
