GREELEY, Leander William — Passed peacefully away at Smith’s Personal Care Home in Bishop’s Cove on Sunday, January 4, 2009 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his granddaughter Stephanie and his brother Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Irene (Smith) of 59 years. Daughter Elizabeth (Alex) of Mount Pearl. Son Neville (Wenda) of Corner Brook, special daughter Winnie James (Lloyd) of Bryants Cove. Sisters; Lenora Smith, Gertie Mercer and brother; William Greeley, all of Upper Island Cove. Three grandchildren; Meghan, Mitchell and Ryan of Corner Brook, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Husseys Funeral Home in Upper Island Cove. The funeral service will take place January 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
