LEGROW, Reginald — Passed peacefully away at his home in Marystown on Dec. 31, 2008, Reginald Legrow of Marystown, NL, in his 92nd year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 61 years, Effie; sons: Chester (Debbie), Robert (Linda), Tom (Heather), David (Wanda); daughters: Phyllis Swyer and Betty Walsh (Jim); eight grandchildren: Jim Swyer (Jody), Christopher Walsh (Jany), Cyndi McLean (Joe). Seanessey Walsh, Amy Legrow (Glenn), Bryan Legrow, Jessica and Jonathan Legrow. Six great-grandchildren: Rachal, Jacob and Christoper Swyer; Logan and Tanner McLean and Adyen Walsh. Brother: Matthew (Violet) and sister Kathleen Flight (Frank). Nieces, nephews, Legionnaires and Lions Club members, plus a large circle of friends. In Reg’s memory, donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation, Burin, NL. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Hubert F. Tucker at Creston North United Church, Creston North on Jan 3, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery at Creston North. Pallbearers were his sons, Chester, Bob, Tom and David LeGrow, and grandsons Seanessey Walsh and Jim Swyer.
