Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, January 26, 2008, Aubrey Reid of Clarenville, aged 92 years. Predeceased by first wife Clara Reid. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Blanche; daughters: Audrey (Carmen "Tim" Jay), Oakville, ON, Lois Harris, Clarenville, Grace (Martin Holmes), Bedford, NS and Joyce (Alvin Moss), Mount Pearl; sons: George, Ottawa, ON and Aubrey Jr. (Lynn), South Africa; sisters: Pearl Pretty, South Dildo and Major Doris Reid, St. John's; brother James (Gertie), South Dildo; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service held on Monday, January 28, 2008 from Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment at United Church Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory donations may be made to United Church Cemetery Fund.
