Dr. Abdalla Hanna passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Friday, May 23, 2008 with his family at his side. Dr. Hanna was born in Cairo, Egypt but moved to Newfoundland in 1963 to serve as a doctor in Burin and later as a surgeon in St. John's. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but we are comforted to know that he is at peace. More information will follow in Sunday's paper.
