It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander 'Sandy' Muise, on Aug. 29, 2010.
He was a very kind and passionate man who loved his family dearly.
Sandy was born on the farm in Boularderie, Cape Breton on Dec. 15, 1942. Having been raised on the farm, he acquired a passion for gardening and the great ourdoors. He spent most of his adult life living and working in Sydney. During his last 12 years, he and his wife Gail lived in Halifax working as superintendents of several apartment buildings.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gail; his four sons, William (Natalie), Gary (Andrea), Ronald (Christa) and Darren (Dee). Sandy is also survived by his loving mother, Lucy Muise; his two brothers James, and Donald (Debbie) and his sister, Mary (Reg); along with many extended family members. Sandy also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Cameron, Sophie, Davis and Lauchlan.
Sandy was predeceased by his father, Bill.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped make Sandy's last few months as comfortable as possible.
