Pettigrew, Nina Agnes, 73, (Economy) and Sydney Mines, passed away September 5, 2010 in Northside General Hospital, North Sydney, N.S.
Born in Fox River, Cumberland County, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Clara (Dowe) Pettigrew. In her early years she worked at the Naval Base in Point Edward. Nina was also a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch #45, Parrsboro. She was a kind and thoughtful person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her sister, Isabelle Legere, Bass River; step-sister Pauline Hogan, New Waterford; nephews, Francis and John Morley. She was predeceased by her nephew, Stuart Eliot Legere.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by request. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
