Peacefully, on September 3, 2010 at Valley View Villa, Yme departed this life. By her side was Martinus Jacob, her husband of more than 69 years. Yme and Martin had three children Betje Johanna (Betsy) in Winnipeg; Janke in Vancouver and the late Johannes Jacobus (Hans). Yme very much enjoyed various arts and crafts activities. The family greatly appreciates the wonderful care Yme received during her residence of over five years at Valley View Villa. Cremation has taken place
