At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 of Verna Grace Coles (nee MacKinnon) of Andrews Lodge and formerly of 501 Queen St. and Belmont St., age 86 years.
Beloved mother of Paulette Power (Fred), Marlene Scott (Clark) and Gail Green (Kevin, deceased). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Greg Power (Barbara Jean), Kevin Power (Melanie) and Stephen Power (Katrina), Cheryl Bowser (Ricky) and Michael Scott, Amanda Green (Kirk Redmond), Adam Green and Tyler Green and by her 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Foster MacKinnon (Jean). Sister-in-law of Jean MacKinnon. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd MacKinnon (Bessie) and John MacKinnon “Buddy”, and by her sister-in-law Hazel MacKinnon.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in Kingston United Church Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 6-9 p.m.
