Molly Colquhoun

LITTLE HARBOUR – Mary Isabel “Molly” Colquhoun, of Little Harbour, passed away January 24, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow on February 6, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Blair and Mary (MacQueen) Russell.
She was a member of the Little Harbour Presbyterian Church and in healthier days, before the onset of lung disease and associated complications, was an active volunteer in her church and community. Molly and Seymour owned and operated a potato farm, fishing business and Colquhoun's Lobster Pound, in Little Harbour for many years.
She is survived by daughters, Susan and Cindy (Bart) Brown, Little Harbour, grandchildren: Matthew (Carla), Ben, Beth, Jake, Joe, Tess, Anna, Julia, Karol, Maggie, and great-grandson Max, a brother Bob (Babe) Russell, nephew Kevin (Joanne) and grandniece Kaitlin Russell, all of Little Harbour.
She was predeceased by her husband Seymour and an uncle Tom MacQueen.
The family will receive visitors at H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Little Harbour Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Church Brook Cemetery.
