It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce that Lee Locken passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2011 at the age of 89. We rejoice that her earthly struggles are over and she is in our Lord's loving care, spending eternity with Him and all those who have gone on before. Born at Expanse, SK on July 28, 1922, Lee was a hard working mom and grandma and will be missed forever by her children Brenda (Doug), Bryan, Kevin, Joe (Debbie) Sandy, and Wes (Brenda), 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A special thank you to the kind staff at Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home in Brandon, MB for their loving care. A Service of Remembrance and a Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held at a later date.
