Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Leo (1997), daughter Brenda Gilbert(1989), and daughter-in-law Diane Walsh (2000). Leaving to mourn children Edward (Mary), Denis, Terry (Frances), Phillip, Michael (Tara), Donna, and Cathy (Fabian Connors); son-in-law Bill Gilbert grandchildren Michelle, Andrea, Eddie, Robert, Chris, Stephen, Lindsay, Erin and Ryan; great-grandchild Chase; brother Cyril Fitzgerald; brothers-in-law Denis Walsh (Ester), Kevin Walsh (Marie), and Alf Sullivan (Mary); special sister-in-law Madeline Walsh as well long time friends Margaret Lacey, Mary Davis, and Violet Neville; her friends at the Catholic Woman’s League of Holy Family Parish and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Wednesday, February 29, from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 01, 2012 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Parish, Paradise, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
