It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Guinchard of Port Saunders, NL, announce his passing on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sisters Joyce, Port Saunders, Nora, Cow Head, Blanche (Len), Daniel’s Harbour, Ina (John), Deer Lake, and Nancy (Grey), Mississauga, Ontario; brother Bruce, Halifax, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law Mirilla, New York, Dorcas, Pasadena, and Evelyn, Hawkes Bay, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Rufus and Prudence Guinchard, stepmother Carrie, brothers Con, Lawrence and George. Visitation took place at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Saturday and Sunday, from where the funeral service took place on Monday, May 7 at 2 p.m. with Rev.
