November 30, 1922 - May 14, 2012. Formerly of Bell Island. Passed away peacefully at Escasoni on Monday, May 14, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Left to mourn her husband of 62 years, George; son Don (wife Connie); daughter Neta Tremblett (husband Mike); son Carl (wife Connie); step-son Cliff (wife Betty); two granddaughters: Shelly (husband Vince) and Tracy; one grandson Randy (wife Pam); two step-grandsons: Chris and David; five great-granddaughters. Thanks to the staff at the Escasoni for the care extended to Carrie during her stay there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from St Augustine’s Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers are gratefully accepted or a donation in Carrie’s memory may be made to the St Augustine’s Church Roofing Program.
