Paul, Sarah Bernadette (O.U.), 62 of Shore Road, Pictou Landing First Nation passed away May 19, 2012 at home.
Born in Truro she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Jean(Prosper) Paul.
Sarah was a Shubenacadie Residential School Survivor. She enjoyed Pow Wows and gatherings with survivors of the residential school. She loved the outdoors, had a heart of gold with a beautiful smile. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by daughters, Beverley Denny(Wayne), Pamela Paul(Derek), Shannon Paul(Adam), sons, Dion Paul(Jennifer), Sheldon Paul( Jillian), all of Pictou Landing First Nation; brothers, Daniel Paul, Frederick Paul, both of Pictou Landing First Nation; a niece Alisha Piercy, NB; nephews, Jason Paul, Pictou Landing First Nation; and Christopher Paul, an uncle Levi Prosper, Pictou Landing First Nation; best friend Diane Denny, Pictou Landing First Nation; grandchildren, Farrah, Tyra, Bryden, Adrienne, James, Derek, Taylor, Candace, Tracey, Wayne, Calvin, Adam, Brody, Sheldon and Marlee, godchildren, Taylor Francis and Timothy Prosper.
She was predeceased by a sister Mary Agnus Paul, a brother Howard Joseph Paul and best friend Anthony Marshall.
Her remains will rest at her late residence at 195 Shore Road, Pictou Landing First Nation after 7pm Wednesday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Saturday from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation with Father Donald Boudreau presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Donations in memory of Sarah may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
