It is with great sadness that the family of the late Holly Young of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 54 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Colin; daughter Cherlyn (Tyson); grandson Jax; brothers Andrew (Louise), Jim (Phyllis), Emmanuel (Stella), Victor, and Wade (Rita); sisters Thelma Bertram, Sadie Patey, Leona (Jeff), Mary (Murray), and Karen (Arnold); Mom (Aunt Yvonne) and Dad (Raymond Rumbolt); special niece, Sarah, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by parents Edward and Sarah, sisters Peggy, Hilda, and Sybil, brother Mark Rumbolt, aunts Lydia, Dora, Millie and Julie, nephew Christopher, uncles John, Mark, Jim, Emmanuel, Dick, Cecil and Lloyd. Visitation took place at St. Thomas Beckett Anglican Church in Port au Choix from where the funeral service took place on Wednesday, May 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
