Born February 10, 1916 from Bell Island. Passed peacefully away on May 15th, 2013, George (Jos) Rees, in Mississauga, Ontario. Predeceased by his wife Carrie, May 14, 2012. Leaving to mourn sons: Cliff and wife Betty, Don and wife Connie, Carl and wife Connie; daughter Neta and husband Mike; three grandsons; two granddaughters, five great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; other relatives and friends; Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation on Sunday, May 19th at 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, May 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustine’s Church, Westerland Rd.
