1953 – 2013

Marion Patricia MacDonald of Riverview, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at her home, with her loving family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Ruby (Rideout) Bressette.

Marion was an individual, who was truly concerned about others more so than even her own failing health. Always asking her friends and family how they were doing. She had some creative talents, tole painting and making ceramics to name a few and was and she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. Marion had enjoyed a career in banking, first with Trico Credit Union then with the Royal Bank. She attebded the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Riverview. .

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband. Doern, sons; Leslie (Rebecca Nicholson) of Riverview, Andrew (Melanie) of Hillsborough and Doern (Cathy Legere) of Riverview, three cherished grand children; Alex, Bryce and Lily Grace. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Beverly.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6 – 9 PM. A service celebrating Marion’s life will be held from the Bethel Presbyterian Church, 600 Coverdale Road on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 2 PM, with Rev. Charles Cook officiating.
