The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, May 18, 2013, of Doris Carr, of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, in her 100th year.
Born in Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (McLean) MacGregor. Survived by her daughters-in-law, Christine (George) Williams, Whitby, ON; Helen (Dale) Muttart, Miscouche; grandchildren, Greg (Amanda) Carr, Kimberly (Mario “J.R.”) Martinez, Krista MacMurdo-Kherani (Nazmin Kherani), Sharon Carr (Mike Nakoneshny); great-grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Riley and Nathan Carr; John Mark and Austin Martinez; Tyler MacMurdo; Laila Kherani; Ali, David, Shawn and Zoë Nakoneshny; son-in-law, Wallace MacMurdo; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Clarence Carr; sons, Kenneth and Alan Carr; brothers, Archibald, James and Charles MacGregor; sisters, Isabel MacLean, Lena Parker and Barbara Tate.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Lot 16 United Church for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lot 16 United Church or to the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.
