Peacefully, and surrounded by his family, Franklin Whiteway, of Murray River, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013.
Born on December 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Chester and Annie (Young) Whiteway and husband to his late wife Marrion Whiteway. Franklin will be missed by his children, Lorne (Natalie) Whiteway, Sharon (Scott) Johnston, Lori Whiteway; grandchildren, Paige (Devin), Jason, Derek (Hannah), Katelyn; and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, wife and also his brothers, Johnny and Robert.
Arrangements entrusted to the Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment took place in the Murray River Cemetery after the service.
Memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
