Eunice Peddle (predeceased by husband Jack in 1977) passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Centre surrounded by her devoted children: Wayne (Diane), Brian (Joan), Janice Horwood (Brendan) and Robert. She was the loving grandmother to Michelle Torraville (Tim), Nicholas, John and David (Sarah); great-grandmother to Dylan Torraville. Also left behind is her special sister in-law, June Murphy (Roger) and their children, Allison (Darren), Tom (Jennifer), Robyn and Nicole Burt (Jason). She held the very proud role of Nanny Niece to Devin, Darcie, Madison and Nathan. She will be dearly missed by so many family and friends whose lives she touched with her laughter and kindness, including: cousin, Rowena Frost (Walt), niece, Lorna Barry (Robert, and daughters Krista & Brittney), Jack Browne, Suzanne & Gary, Bob & Brenda and Betty; Rita, Margaret, Peggy and Mary, the long standing “club crowd” with whom she shared many years of joy over a weekly game of cards and a cup of tea. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from Corpus Christi Parish at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Katie cat will keep her chair warm and we will treasure the lifetime of memories we’ve shared with this extraordinary woman.
