Alyssa E. Dunn
Alyssa E. Dunn, 20, of 28 Bennett Road, Gardner, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH, surrounded by her family.
Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on March 9, 1993, she was the daughter of David W. and Michelle L. (MacDonald) Dunn of Gardner.
At the time of her death, Alyssa was employed by Three Sisters Country Store of Wolfeboro, NH. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 2011, and attended Framingham State College, Framingham. Alyssa enjoyed spending time outdoors; she loved snowboarding, traveling and spending time at the beach. Her family vacations at Hampton Beach, NH, were always very special to her. She was a fan of country music and enjoyed attending concerts. Alyssa most enjoyed spending time with her family and her numerous friends, whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, and will always be remembered for her sense of humor and beautiful smile.
Besides her parents, Alyssa leaves one brother, Jamison M. Dunn, of Gardner; her paternal grandfather, Guilford Dunn III and his wife Pam, of Winston Salem, NC; her maternal grandparents, George and Betty (Perry) MacDonald of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; one aunt, Melissa Leary and her husband Shaun, of Myrtle Beach, SC; two uncles, Jason MacDonald and his wife Michelle, of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Christopher Dunn and his wife Sherry of Hollis, NH; and eight cousins, Caulen, Kelsey, Mackenna, Bailey, Camryn, Ben, Kelly and Marisa. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Carol Dunn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Service at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Page Street, Lunenburg, MA. Calling hours were Friday, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
