Passed peacefully away, at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, in the presence of his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his devoted wife Marie; loving son Kenneth; his parents Mary Ellen and Gordon Power; brothers: Allan and John Gerald Power and sister Kay Barry. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts are his children: Colleen (Lenny), Derek (Michelle), Wally (Bernice), Damian, Hannah (Brian) and Sonia (Brian); daughter-in-law Judy; his 12 grandchildren: Jason (Marilyn), Gordon (Jasna), Kassandra (Grant), Jeff (Monique), Erin (Shane), Stephanie, Keeley, Justin, Amy, Brianna, Maria and Sophie; 4 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Ava, Carson and Kendall; his sisters: Eileen Jordan, Rose Power, Hilda Tuff; brother, Wayne Power and sister-in-law Irene Scully. Also left with many fond and loving memories are his loving partner Roma French and his longtime special friend Mildred Renouf. Cherished and adored by a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He will be especially missed by his special niece and nephew Kathy Power and Wally G. Power. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home in Bay Bulls, Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 2 pm to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial from Sacred Heart RC Church on May 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. As per his wish cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Tors Cove Playground Fund.

God saw you were getting tired,
