Robert Gary Bepple of Kamloops passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 66 years of age.

He is survived by his long-time loving friend Penny Wale; children Jacqueline (Brett) Turvey, Jennifer (Chad) Greengrass, Judy (Martin) Sturm, Joanne (Craig) Korpan, and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Art (Myrna) Bepple, Arnie (Bernie) Bepple, Linda (Gill) Jandoc, Terry Bepple, Tina (Bart) Hollinger, Darlene (Bill) Taylor, Jim (Sue) Bepple, and Keith (Dinah) Bepple.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Ron and Erna Bepple, and sister-in-law Susan Bepple.

Robert was born, raised and lived out most of his life in Kamloops, B.C. with the exception of a few memorable years in Chase Creek, B.C. He was known for his strong work ethic which started at Nelson's Plumbing and Heating, he eventually co-owned Shuswap Plumbing and Heating, and after a few other occupations he finished his working career at Anvil Iron Works. He will be remembered by family and old time friends as humorous and fun loving. Robert remained fiercely independent his whole life.

The family gives a special thank you to Anvil Iron Works for their support of Robert over the years; and also thank you to the Emergency and ICU staff at the Royal Inland Hospital for their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation.
