Passed peacefully away on November 5th, 2013 at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, Mercedes B. O’Keefe of Southeast, Placentia, at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Aloysius, son Albert, sisters Gertrude King, Irene Carra and Mary Ellen Oakes. Leaving to mourn her sons: Vincent (Jean Ann) and Adrian (Kitty); grandchildren: Stephen (Heather), Wade (Carolann), Craig (Tammy), Ross (Erin), David (Cathy), Sonya, Anica (Glenn), Brett (Leigha); great-grandchildren; Stephen (Mandy), Liam, Nicolas, Alexandra, Kyle, Zachary, Hailee, Dawson, Jordan, Connor, Jayson and Alanna; brothers: Pat (Bride) and Vincent; sister Joan Le Matty; brothers-in-law: Will and Clem; sisters-in-law: Imelda Scott, Hilda Hanrahan and Evelyn King, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Nov. 6, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Nov. 7, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday November 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia.
