The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, April 11, 2014, of Sheila Ruth Walfield (nee MacDonald) of Summerside, and formerly of Conway, aged 75 years. Sheila was born on July 21, 1938, to her late parents Hughie "Sailor Bill" and Elsie (nee
MacFadgen) MacDonald. Beloved wife of the late Willis Walfield and loving mother of Carolyn (Ron) Norring of Summerside, Verna Enman of Lot 16, Deb (Rheal) Arsenault of Slemon Park, Fred (Cheryl) of Linkletter, Wallace (Sheila) of NFLD., Tracy Arsenault (Jerome Martin) of Summerside, Travis (Tracy) of Summerside, and Tammy (Randy) Coughlin of Conway. Also lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother Blair, sisters Lynn MacDonald and Clarisse MacDonald, brother-in-law Joe Perry, Guy Jay and John Busby. Besides her parents and husband, Sheila was predeceased by her brothers Hughie (Winnie) and John MacDonald, sisters Beatrice Perry and Verna Jay and son-in-law Dale Enman. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Monday, April 14, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in Freeland United Church Cemetery, Freeland, at a later date. Memorial donations in Sheila's memory to the Freeland United Cemetery, Freeland, would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday evening only, 6-9 p.m.
