Burry
Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay on Saturday, April 12, 2014 Neta Maria Burry age 85 years of Greenspond. Predeceased by her parents Abner and Hilda Blackwood; husband Philip; brothers Peter, Ross, Joseph, Eric and Eleazor; sister Stella Roberts; brothers-in-law Clarence Janes and Ronald Roberts; sisters-in-law Edwina Blackwood and Gertrude Blackwood. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Herbert Burry of Greenspond; brother Robert Blackwood(Eleanor) of Sydney Mines, NS.; sisters Maude Janes of St. John’s and Sadie Barefoot(Carl) of Manuels; sisters-in-law Alma Stratton of St. John’s, Cherry Blackwood of St. John’s and Evelyn Blackwood of St. John’s; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at The United Church, Greenspond on Monday, April 14, 2014 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at The Interfaith Cemetery, Greenspond.
