Isabel May Cruise passed away peacefully at Pioneers Lodge in Moose Jaw, SK on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Isabel is lovingly remembered and missed by her dear husband of 43 years “Bennie”, sister Millicent Rogerson, sister-in-law Ruth Cruise, daughter-in-law Gwen Weatherhead, granddaughter Sandra, several nieces, nephews, many other family members and special friends. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Susanna Langton, her sisters Harriet, Ethel, Ruth and Jessie, her brothers Art, Bob and Harold, her first husband Jack Fox (1968) and her only child, son Allan Fox (1972), as well as sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Isabel was born on June 11, 1920 at home on the family farm in Mortlach, SK. After finishing school in Mortlach she went to work at Robin Hood Mills in Moose Jaw. She married Jack Fox in 1944 and they lived on the Fox farm in the Baildon District until his death in 1968. She then moved to Moose Jaw and reunited with Ben at her sister Harriet’s funeral, and they were married on October 23, 1970. They did everything together, traveling to many places; Hawaii, Ireland, Australia, South America and more. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping and many crafts especially paper-toll and crocheting. Isabel’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkview Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Langdon officiating. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
