Virginia Johnstone

Virginia “Ginny” Leigh Johnstone, 54, of Glengarry, formerly of Trenton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her home.

Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Rollie and Gertrude (MacPherson) Johnstone.

Being a very special person to her family and friends, Ginny warmed the hearts of many as they warmed Ginny’s heart. She loved music, going for drives, especially to the cottage in Sherbrooke, and Tim Hortons Coffee.

She will be lovingly missed by her sisters, Debbie Cook (Archie), Glengarry; Betty Imlay, Halifax; Elsie Wordtman, Ont.; special nieces, Mundy Avery, Thorburn; Tammy Kehoe (Louis), Westville; Angela Gagnon, Westville; special grand nephews and nieces, Justin and Jenna Kehoe; and Benjamin and Abigail Avery; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Edith Hewitt and brother Arnold Johnstone.

Ginny is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 2 o’clock from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville. Burial will be in Lorne Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Ginny’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
