Passed away at St. John's on July 2, 2014. Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Margaret (Whiffin) Roche & sister Leona Roche. Leaving to remember her, Sisters, Lyn Roche & Ellen Dawe (Vic- deceased), niece: Victoria Dawe, nephews: Christopher Dawe (Debbie), and their children Alex and Emily; David Dawe (Janice) and their children Elizabeth, Rebecca and Peter. She was a graduate of The St. John's General Hospital School of Nursing (1949) and University of Toronto (1952), and worked at the General until 1959. From 1959-1986 she was Field Consultant for the Cottage Hospital System with the Department of Health. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Thursday July 3, from 7-9, and Friday July 4 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 5th at 9:30am at St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre. Flowers gratefully accepted.
