DOUCETTE, Barry Bruce – age 35, Upper Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born November 30, 1978 in Yarmouth, he was a son of Bruce and Sharon (Boudreau) Doucette, Upper Wedgeport. Barry worked as a lobster and scallop fisherman. Aside from his parents, Bruce and Sharon, he is survived by a brother, Jamie Doucette (Gloria Marginson), Wedgeport, and he was a very special uncle to Tobey, Jacob and Abby. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ernie and Theresa Doucette as well as by his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Virginia Boudreau. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday evening with prayers at 8:00, both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment took place in the parish cemetery.
