Alfred P. Arsenault, 77, of Revere, U.S., died on June 30, 2014, in Melrose Wakefield Hospital, U.S. Born on January 15, 1937, on P.E.I., he was a son of Phil and Alma (LeClair) Arsenault. Alfred proudly served in the Canadian Army for a number of years before joining his family in Chelsea, Massachusetts, U.S.A. He began a career as a truck driver working as a teamster driver for Consolidated Freight for more than 30 years. Alfred was also a Lifetime member of the French Naturalization Club, Chelsea, Mass., and the Chelsea Mass Yacht Club. Alfred is survived by his brothers Alyre (Joan) St. Catharines, Ont.; Ernie (Margaret) Summerside, P.E.I.; sister Louise (Tom) Marchessault, Kittery, Me., and by numerous nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by brothers Melvin, Raymond and Edmond Arsenault. At his request, services for Alfred will be held privately in P.E.I. at St-Phillippe and St-Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont Bay. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
