"Don't worry, it's an adventure!" was one of the most common phrases spoken by Scott when something not in the cards occurred or an untraveled road was ahead. Always ready with a grin, good spirits and the willingness to help anyone.
Scott Brian Beaton was born May 24, 1954 in Danbury, Conn. Yet his true home was in P.E.I. Scott passed away peacefully surrounded by his family July 9, 2014. He had just entered his 60th year.
Scott was extremely loving and proud of his son, Daniel Scott Beaton, and his two daughters, Jennifer Anne Beaton and Kathleen Elaine Beaton. Scott also had a special place in his heart for his brother-n-law, John Freeman Dougan and the family pet Kuczo.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sandra Elaine (Dougan) Beaton.
The memory of Scott will live on through his children and the many lives that he touched. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
The family has decided that there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Instead to respect Scott's wishes the family will spread his ashes privately.
The family would like to take this time to thank all the wonderful nurses, RT's and doctors at the QEH ICU/CCU Unit for being there for Scott during this time.
