PAGE, Eric Leslie -age 92, Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014, in the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Hellingly, England, he was a son of the late Frederick J. and Fannie J. (Jarman) Page. Eric was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the R.A.F. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.1 Middleton. He was retired from Maritime Tel and Tel and had drove a school bus. Surviving are sons, Leslie (Kathy) Page, Grafton; Anthony (Mary) Page, Red Deer, Alta.; daughter, Myra (Danny) Bruce, Boundary Creek, N.B.; grandchildren, George (the late Debbie), Ronda (Roger), Jamie, Nicole (Jon) and Adam; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Emily, Ellen, Scott, Alexander, Makenzie and Brendan; brother, George Page, Hailsham, England; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Muriel A. (Smith) Page; son, Darrel Page; brothers, Harold, Donald, Aubrey, Victor, Cyril and Reginald Page; sister, Myrtle Catt. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 15 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. The funeral service, followed by a reception, took place Wednesday, July 16, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment in the Nictaux Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to Veterans Wing or Mayflower Unit of the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
