Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, of Leah Colene Smith. Beloved daughter of Leo and the late Marilyn Smith (Noonan). Sister to Kellie and Donald Mulligan and special aunt to Jarrett and Alexis Mulligan, Emerald; Jason and (Kim), special aunt to Alex and Oliver, Cornwall; Matthew (Cathy), and special aunt to Bailey and Aidan, Bridgewater, N.S. She is survived by a loving list of aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends from around the continent, whom have reached out to her during this past year. A heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Nathan Lamond, Lynn Shore, Dr. Bowes and Laverne, and the many nurses for their amazing care in oncology and the Palliative Care Unit. Private family visiting hours only. Funeral to be held on Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Seven Mile Bay. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
