Mary Olive MACPHEE, Bowman, Angevine

MacPhee, Bowman, Angevine – Mary Olive, 94 Truro passed away July 30, 2014 in Debert Court, Debert. Born October 27, 1919 in Upper Nine Mile River, Hants Co., she was the only daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Thompson) Angevine. She was retired as the Floor Lady from the Silk Room, Stanfield’s Ltd. being employed there for approximately fifty years. She was a resident of Truro for the past 66 years and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, where she enjoyed fellowship, making quilts and handcrafts. She was also a member of Victory Lodge #90, Daughters of Scotia, Lynn, Massachusetts. Mary was predeceased by her second husband, Elroy “Roy” MacPhee in 2005. She is survived by daughter, Ethel (Rev. Dr. Gerald G.) Wyrwas, Lynnfield MA; son, Cecil (Joan) Bowman, Salmon River; grandchildren, Margaret Wyrwas (Peter Thorner), Westport, CT., David (Myoung Hee) Wyrwas, Merrimack, N.H., Susan (Kevin) Winters, South Easton, MA., Craig Bowman, Las Vegas, NV, Kurt (Lorna) Bowman, Acton, Ont., Neal (Renee) Bowman, Scarborough, Ont., Kyla Bowman, Candace Bowman; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Evelyn) Angevine, Bible Hill; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold and Charles; great-grandsons, Thomas Winters, John David Wyrwas and Edward Gerald Wyrwas. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1 from 6-8 pm; funeral service on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 2:00 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Dr. Gerald G. Wyrwas officiating. Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery, Upper Nine Mile River. Donations in her memory may be made to Sand Hill Cemetery, c/o Ruby Demont, 3232 Highway 202, East Gore, Hants Co., N.S.
