Victor Maye

MAYE, Victor “Eugene” passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2014 at the age of 80. He grew up in Greenwood, a foster child of Edith and Clarence Banks. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. “The bigger the better”. He was a very skilled operator and was well known by many construction firms. He also had a talent for invention and building his own equipment. Eugene is survived by his wife of fifty years, Myrna (Keddy); sons Neil, Cambridge, Ont., Kirk (Tami) Fall River, Vaughn, Hamilton, Ont. and daughter Marilyn Wickens, Lower Sackville; step-sons Carson (Heather) Fisher, Wellington, NS, Dana (Monica) Fisher, Martin’s Point and step-daughter Jean Mercier (Dale Campbell), Brookfield, NS; nine grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren, also his half-sister Nancy Parent. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Donations in Eugene’s memory may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, Kingston or to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank Dr. Yafai, the VON and Palliative Care for their support at this difficult time.
