PARSONS, Caroline Louise- It is with saddened hearts and fond memories we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved, Caroline Louise Parsons at the Health Science Center on August 17th, 2014 in the presence of her loving family. A person of many talents and incredible kindness, she was in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband John Parsons, September 2007; parents Robert and Elfreda Parsons; sister and brother Margaret and Henry Parsons. Remembering her with love, her sister Marion Smith (Roy, deceased) and brother Robert Parsons (Eva) of Lumsden, NL; her sister-in-law Frances Williams at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home; cherished nieces and nephews: Robert Smith (Gloria) of St. John’s, Margaret Beckett (Edgar) of Mt. Pearl, Patricia Wilkison (Mike) of Vancouver, Charmaine Eger (Brad) of Vancouver, Jeffrey Smith (Cindy) of Corner Brook, Tolson Parsons (Patricia) of Gander, Terry Parsons (Sheila) of Gander, Cynthia Short (Andrew) of Ontario, Mike Parsons (Ontario), Christopher Parsons (Shiloh) of Ontario, Judy Williams (St. John’s), Janet Parsons (St. John’s), Bill Pope (England), Rob Pope (Ottawa), and Robert Parsons (PEI); all the nieces and nephews children who treasured Aunt Carr, and whom she loved dearly. Many dear cousins and lifelong friends and the many residents of Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home, where she spent two enjoyable years. We will miss her dearly. Rest in Peace. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue St. John’s, and the funeral service had taken place on Friday, August 22, 2014. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Caroline’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Newtown Bonavista Bay, or a charity of one’s choice.
