Edna Bunckle, age 94, of Valley View Villa, formerly of Durham, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Valley View Villa, Riverton.
Born in England, Edna was a daughter of the late Norman and Harriet (Brown) Robson.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Choir, Westville and the Legion Choir of New Glasgow. She played the violin and sang many duets with her sister Doreen.
Edna will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, Harry; son Geoffrey (Anne); daughter Barbara; grandchildren: Darcy (Ashley), David (Jocelyn), Alison (Ryan), Lauren (Mike); 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by sisters, Gwin Snell and Doreen Marshall MacKenzie and brother Roland Robson.
Edna is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held 11 o’clock Saturday from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Westville with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
