David Cameron Gerrior, 65, of Sydney, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Jerome and Ethel (Steward) Gerrior.
He was a gentle and quiet man and will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends. David was an employee for many years of the Glace Bay Sobeys as a meat cutter. For past time, David loved to play his guitar.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal, Calgary; sisters, Ethel (Walter) Crawley, Theresa Bell, Alice (Cameron) Giovannetti; brothers, Stewart and Vince (Diane); a very special granddaughter, Alicia and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Gregory; wife, Loretta (Axworthy); sister, Doris and brothers, Laven, Allen, Leo, Greg and Alphonse.
There will be no visitation for Mr. Gerrior, burial will take place at a later date.
