NEWELL, Albert Keith, 85, Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, formerly of Oak Park, Shelburne County died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Newellton on August 17, 1929, he was a son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Doane) Newell. He loved skidooing, four wheeling, yard sales and his white faced oxen. He loved children. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife Althea (Blades); sons, Wayne (Patti), Barrington Passage, Roger, Oak Park, Harold (Sonia), North East Point; daughter, Veronica (Roger) Smith, Shag Harbour; brothers, Jackie (Eleanor), Port LaTour, David (Linda), Port LaTour; sisters, Pauline Sprague, Liverpool, Violet Eisnor, New Germany; grandchildren, Shannon, Tanya, Kyle, Shawn, Jody, Jenine, Jennifer, Jason, Vanessa, Tyson; step grandchildren, Charity, Arthur; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Foreman, Kenneth, Clifford, Lloyd, Lindsay; sisters, Marie Bateman, Beatrice Newell, Ethel Dagley, Ena Smith, Evelyn Newell, Muriel Newell. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 3 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Jacque LeBlanc officiating. Burial was in the River Dale Cemetery, Riverhead.
