George D. , 60 of Dartmouth, passed away September 9, 2014 at home. Born in Garden of Eden, Pictou Co. he was the son of Theresa MacDonald and the late Gordon Fraser. George was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed and loved his daily espressos, backgammon, cribbage games and had a passion for cooking. He is survived by his children Darcy and Devon; wife Sharon; brother Alex; sister in-law Jean; nephew Cory; niece T-Anna; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by brothers Andrew and Darren. Visitation will be held 1 – 3pm Saturday September 20, 2014 with a memorial service held at 3pm both in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. P. A. Sandy MacDonald officiating.
