LUTZ, Brian Vernon – age 54, of Scarborough, Ont., formerly of Auburn, Kings Co. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Brian. He was removed from life support on Monday, February 3, 2014, at William Osler Health System, Brampton, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family. Brian’s death has given continued life to three individuals through the gift of organ donation. Born on August 14, 1959, in Toronto, Ont., he was a son of Joyce (Parsons) Lutz, Auburn and the late Ronald Lutz. Besides his mother, Brian leaves behind his dedicated companion of 24 years, Sue Armstrong, Scarborough; sisters, Cindy Marshall (Ray), Milton, Ont.; Diane Lutz (Greg), Kingston; brother-in-law, Pete Armstrong (Michelle), Toronto; nephews, Shane and Adam; nieces, Sabrina, Grace, Madalyn, Melissa and Kelly. He had been employed by Umbra for many years in maintenance. Brian was a kind, compassionate soul, who had a great love for his family and friends and beloved pets. He was especially fond of his dog, Bond, and his many feline friends that he and Sue cared for over the years. Brian loved to make people laugh with his quick wit and could repeatedly rhyme and remember joke after joke. Since having a brain aneurysm 14 years ago, he picked up the art of drawing which he loved to share with his family and friends. All are welcome to the graveside service that will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, in the Morristown Cemetery, with Pastor Chad Clements officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kings Co. S.P.C.A. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1 (855) 825-3448.
